The Flinn Foundation and the Thomas R. Brown Foundations created the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership in 2010 to fill a gap the two Arizona-based philanthropies identified in the state’s civic-leadership assets. Although quality leadership-training organizations existed at the local and regional level, no entity worked specifically to address state-level civic-leadership or to strengthen civic leadership statewide.
In addition to the Center news releases below, our regularly updated blog, Civic Leadership Conversation, provides news about civic leadership in Arizona and beyond.
